SUMMARY 

 

The Logistics Technician is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and office spaces and field units are “response ready” for the field crews coming in for their shift assignment and for our patients seeking medical care. 

The Logistics Technician operates with the goal of increasing the quality and efficiency of our services to the crews and our clients. The Logistics Technician will participate in tasks related to serving our contracts, managing supplies, supporting fixed and flexible locations, and working on various assignments simultaneously. 
 

 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES 
 

  • Ensure the workspace of offices and venues is clean and organized. 
  • Track equipment and supplies usage and data analytics and reorder as needed. 
  • Requisition supplies/equipment for replacement. 
  • Compile and package equipment and supplies for shipment and/or delivery. 
  • Receive supplies and equipment and reintegrate into circulation. 
  • Clean ambulances and other field vehicles inside and outside daily. 
  • Restock vehicle, venue, and office supplies daily. 
  • Conduct or coordinate preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles. 
  • Ensure the proper storage and handling of sensitive materials. 
  • Complete vehicle inventory check/control of supplies and equipment. 
  • Inform supervisor of breakdowns and cause of equipment failure for repair and maintain accurate records. 
  • Minor IT troubleshooting to include setup of printers, monitors, WiFi, and similar devices. 
  • Reallocate equipment and supplies across numerous fixed and temporary sites as needed to ensure continuity of operations.  
  • Document condition of vehicles and equipment at EOS. 
  • Facilitate, update and monitor the digital and physical tracking of assets. 
  • Respond to daily phone inquiries from crews and Operations department to help facilitate coordination. 
  • Conduct self in a professional manner in accordance with the Company’s ‘Standards of Conduct’ policy. 
  • Arrive for duty appropriately groomed and in the proper work dress/uniform. 
  • Complete all required/assigned Company training. 
  • Adhere to and comply with all Company and information security systems policies and procedures. 
  • Maintain or secure any required certifications as dictated by company policy or applicable safety standards.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
     

QUALIFICATIONS 

High School diploma or equivalent. 

Microsoft Office/Google Suite knowledge. 

Ability to work under time constraints and in adverse conditions. 

Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 

Valid State Driver License. 

State or National EMT certification preferred.  

Industry experience preferred.  

 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS  

Working Conditions: 
Fatigue, repetitive and intense tasks. Busy environment, high pressure. May work alone or with others. May work in confined areas. Exposure to noise or other hazardous conditions associated with the treatment of emergent medical conditions. Exposure to electrical equipment. Extended work shifts potentially on nights, weekends, and/or holidays. 
 
Physical Demands: 
Smelling, reading, kneeling, stooping, bending, leaning, twisting, hearing/listening, clear speech, simple touching, pushing, pulling, reaching standing, sitting. Carrying multiple pieces of equipment while pushing cot. Driving ambulance, walking inside and outside in weather. Performing visual inspections. Climbing a ladder or step stool. Lifting to 70 lbs. Operate basic office equipment, communication devices, wheelchair, and gurney/cot. 
 
Mental Requirements: 
Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weakness of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Analyzing and decision making. Simple reading, writing, and math skills. Clerical memorization, perception/computation, problem solving and reasoning.

Reports to: Operations Manager/Operations Supervisor 
Interrelationships: Operations support staff, field supervisor, operations coordinators.
